Have you ever seen a piece of jewelry that you absolutely love, but only if it came with a different gemstone? Or wished the design was a little different? Or dreamed of custom designing your own piece of jewelry from scratch. That's why Designs by Nathan offers this service for semi-custom or from-scratch custom designing your own piece of jewelry.
In a 20 minute live design session with our leading Designs by Nathan Jeweler (my wife Brenda), you will be able to choose the gemstone, diamond, or continuous liquid brilliance 8X lab grown diamond you want, then select your mounting/jewelry from thousands of choices - all without leaving the comfort of your own home. All live with you telling Brenda what you want and her creating it on a Zoom call right in front of your eyes.
The cost for this live design session will be credited towards the price of the custom jewelry you design together with Brenda. If additional sessions are needed to complete the design process (including for from-scratch custom), these will be at no additional charge to you.
A typical design range for you final custom piece can range from $250 to $99,000, depending on the choices you make in the design process. For semi-custom designs, at all times you will see the costs of the materials and designs you choose during the design process. From-scratch design does require additional design work and so you will see pricing at the next design session.
Brenda will answer all of your questions regarding design, gemstones, and precious metals, as she designs your jewelry live.
Brenda will ask you to complete a short questionnaire before your design session so that she has a good understanding of what you want and can start the design session with some initial design prototypes.
From-Scratch Custom Designs include receiving a wax casted prototype for final approval before your design is 3D printed in precious metal and shipped to you. Exact gemstone selections (ex. certified diamonds) are not final or reserved until you order your final 3D printed design.
You will be given the option to reserve specific stones by buying them during the design session.
Most notable and certified gemstones and diamonds in our inventory are sold within 3 to 7 days of listing, which is why we do not guarantee the exact stone until you pay for your order.
Your final price will reflect the actual stones that you receive in your design.
Custom made jewelry and the jewelry session service are non-returnable.
